Daedric Helmetby *Kuraudo3

My finished Daedric helmet. It took a long time, but a lot of it was due to the learning process. Hopefully future projects won't take quite as long. It's just a cardstock base with three layers of fiberglass resin, a solid coat of bondo, some Mod Podge to smooth out some parts and paint.

Oh and the eyes are covered with a double layer of chiffon so you can't see into it, but I can see out of it just fine even in low light.

looks great! make anymore progress on your armor piece? i havent started mine yet i have gauntlets done and started my legs. i have my helmet painted matte black and i went with the smooth finish instead of the rough finish. thinking about accenting it with red to show it off some still indecisive i painted it 3 different ways already

The helmet looks great! I love the bone crown too. Hopefully my second helmet turns out as smoothly as yours did. And no I haven't made much progress on my armor lately. Hopefully I can get a compilation pic up soon to show where I am on all of it.
